Our lives on earth matter but not always for the reasons we think. As believers in Christ, we have been called to present every person before the Lord, complete in Christ. The Motivation for Ministry (Colossians 1:24-29) - As followers of Christ, each of us has been called into the ministry of sharing with all people the hope that is found through Jesus Christ. The goal of this ministry is that each person might be presented in Christ before the Lord. Therefore, our motivation is to stand before God successful in fulfilling this goal.

Living in Light of Eternity (2 Peter 3:1-14) - One day, both this earth and the heavens will be destroyed, and they will be replaced by new and more glorious ones. How we live today comes to bear on the life that is to come. We should pursue holiness and righteousness, which will be the hallmark of our eternal destination.

Loving the Wrong World (1 John 2:15-17) - Intimacy with God can be hard to grasp. While we strive to have a personal connection with God, it often seems like a one-sided relationship. One reason for this is that many of us have developed a great love of this world and an ambivalence toward the world that is to come.

Changing Vanity into Victory (Ecclesiastes 2:1-11) - How do you put life together so that it works? It’s not uncommon to look at the details of your life and think about how nothing turned out like you planned. We want it all to make sense. Part of that solution lies in remembering who put you here and for what purpose.

How to Truly Be Rich (Luke 12:13-21) - There’s a lot being said these days about Christianity and prosperity. What is it to be truly rich in God’s kingdom? As Tony Evans explains, if we place the spiritual blessing ahead of the physical blessing, we will begin to experience true wealth.

The Reassurance of a Heavenly Perspective (Luke 12:22-34) - Our lives on earth matter but not always for the reasons we think. As believers in Christ, we have been called to present every person before the Lord, complete in Christ. We are called to holiness both here on earth and in heaven when we have been perfected. Tony Evans discusses the difference between an earthly and an eternal perspective.
From Heaven to Earth (Colossians 3:1-11) - There is a connection that exists between the living Christ and every believing person on earth. It’s one that allows each of us to begin to move toward Christlikeness, and even when we continue to live as our old selves, the heaven-to-earth connection will help us in breaking free.

The Heavenly Broadcast Network (1 Corinthians 2:9-16) - The presence of the Holy Spirit deposited in the soul of the believer acts a lot like a TV receiver. He provides daily insight from and connectivity to God. As long as we stay attuned to what the Spirit is saying and do not try to block the signal, we can benefit from His eternal perspective.

Pursuing Your Heavenly Citizenship (Philippians 3:12-21) - Earth is not our home. Each and every Christian’s primary citizenship comes from heaven, and one day, we will make the journey home. Until that day, we have an obligation to live as citizens of that kingdom, representing the holiness and the love of Almighty God to this world.

Preparing for Eternity (Luke 19:11-27) - Our lives on earth matter but not always for the reasons we think. As believers in Christ, we have been called to present every person before the Lord, complete in Christ. We are called to holiness both here on earth and in heaven when we have been perfected. Tony Evans discusses the difference between an earthly and an eternal perspective.
